Pending Apple’s approval, the PadMapper iPhone app should be in the app store on Friday. I decided to charge $0.99 for it to subsidize the cost of running the web version a bit. Hopefully noone will be terribly offended .

First it was slow, then it was fast
I noticed PadMapper wasn’t its old zippy self, so I did some database housecleaning, which seems to have sped it back up. Notice any difference? Still slow? For reference, it shouldn’t take 20 seconds for the initial set of points to show up in a city.
