Reno is the fourth largest city in Nevada and the county seat of Washoe County. It sits at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountain range and is known as The Biggest Little City in the World.
The 2010 United States Census reported 225,221 people living in Reno. Of these residents, 74.2% are white, 2.9% are black or African-American, 1.3% are Native American or Alaska Native, 6.3% are Asian, and 0.7% are Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander. Roughly a tenth of Reno's population is of another race, with 10.5% of the residents identifying with some other single race, and 4.2% are of two or more races. Residents of Hispanic or Latino origin make up 24.3% of Reno's population. A 2009 estimate placed the median household income at $47,856 and the median family income at $58,301.
Like fellow Nevada city Las Vegas, downtown Reno has many casinos. Reno was the birthplace of the Harrah's chain of casinos, so naturally there is a Harrah's casino in the city. Many of the casinos also provide restaurants, a bar, and entertainment such as concerts, plays, and other events. Downtown Reno is also home to a variety of bars and clubs and Reno's most popular place for the nightlife.
Reno's main focus is tourism, and the casinos are a big attraction to the tourists. Another big attraction is the events Reno holds throughout the year, many of which are well-attended by tourists and locals. Bowling tournaments are hosted in the National Bowling Stadium, and the Reno Rodeo runs each summer. Reno also plays host to the classic car convention Hot August Nights and the motorcycle gathering Street Vibrations. Annual skyward events include September's Great Reno Balloon Race for the racing of hot air balloons and the Reno Air Races for racing planes.

As an alternative, if you login (link on top of the filter box), everything will be saved automatically. This box is still good for sharing/printing lists of favorites, though.
