Looking to find someone to fill a vacancy for November 1st, 2015. I know its a long read, but since there are specific needs in the house, please read through the listing before responding. The pad: Three story town home with a spacious kitchen, gas stoves and some sweet lighting setups. Bedrooms are on the top floor and your room would be street-facing. You'll share a bathroom with one other roommate. Parking is free with no permit required. We have existing furniture and you'd just have to worry about furnishing your bedroom. There is heating and air conditioning for all your temperature regulation needs. You: Young professional in the DC area, looking for a place that's far enough from the bustle that you see wildlife that isn't squirrels or pigeons but close enough that there is still civilization. Or maybe you work in Tysons and you're looking for a place to stay that's close and doesn't break the bank. Or maybe you want to come home to some fresh air after stewing in Metro fumes all day. You're a laid-back non-smoker, non-drug-user, who is LGBT/LGBT friendly (and not just in a "I got drunk at pride one time with my token LGBT friend" kinda way, we're looking for a "I consciously try not to misgender and I'm not going to ask intrusive what's in your pants/how does sexy-times work kinds of questions to transgender people" kind of friendly)and you don't mind living with three silly birds (like actual real birds) and their humans. Birds inhabit the bottom floor and sleep at night down there. I've loved living here, but I need to get off of it for work and personal reasons. The roommates: Three chill dudes in their mid-to-late 20s who live in a pretty quiet and uber-relaxed atmosphere. Love boardgames, video games and generally into the geeky side of life. S works as a resource teacher and is a ridic jack-of-all-trades. J works at a printshop and makes all the things. M works as a night custodian and is the bird whisperer. $500 a month + utilities ( gas, high-speed internet (no cable TV this is a cord-cutter household) electric and water - usually runs 75-100 dollars on average per person). The security deposit is covered. You will need to go through a background (renter history, etc. the usual) and credit check. Rent is due the 1st of the month, so we would coordinate with you to get the payment through before you move in. Location: Located in the Carisbrooke subdivision in Ashburn, VA. It's got lots of running and biking paths and is less than 5 minutes driving from the Dulles Greenway, about 10-15 from Rt. 28 and the Dulles tollway, and about 5-10 from the Cascades Pwkway and Ashburn Village Blvd. There's several amenities within a few minute radius including several grocery stores ( Giant, Harris Teeter, Lotte Mart ) food places ( Panera, Chipotle, Tropical Smoothie Cafe), and about 15-20 minutes away from Loudoun One ( which has great places like Alamo draft house, Nando's Peri Peri, Elevation Burger ). If you feel like walking/public transportation, it's about a 15-20 minute walk to the Loudon Station bus station that has a commuter bus that can take you to the Wiehle-Reston Metro station (Silver Line).
