My name is Lauren and I am looking for a roommate to move into my apartment in January or February. A little about me: I'm 25, a young professional, clean and financially responsible. I work during the week from around 7AM to 4PM. I like to go out and have a drink occasionally, but will be respectful and won't bring the party home. I have a pet rabbit who lives in a cage in my room (he's the best and I keep his area very clean!). I'm laid back and easy to live with. I'm hoping to find another young professional who will pay rent on time and be respectful enough to keep the common areas clean. Bonus if I can find someone who is around my age who I can hangout with/watch tv with when we're both home.
About the place: The apartment is 1100 sq. feet and located in the La Jolla area right next to the UTC mall. You will have your own bedroom and bathroom. Rent is $953 a month plus utilities. It's walking distance from a bunch of restaurants, a grocery store, the entire mall, and a 24 hour fitness. There is also a small fitness facility in the complex, a pool/jacuzzi, laundry room (which is never full and is located right outside of the unit). It's also only a quick drive away from the beach. I really love this apartment and hope to find someone as soon as possible. The lease ends in June, but if we are a good match and it works out well then we can talk about extending it for longer.
