Looking for someone to take over my roommate's lease (sublet) in a beautiful, 1245 sq ft, 2bed/2bath condo in the heart of Rosslyn (North Arlington). Condo has a renovated kitchen with dishwasher, a washer/dryer in unit, walk-in pantry, and a huge balcony with views of Arlington & DC. The bedroom available is the second bedroom which opens onto the balcony, with its own full size bathroom, 2 closets, and is large enough for a queen size bed, dresser, and bookshelf/desk. I'm looking for someone to take over my roommates lease starting March 1 through May 31. I would then love to re-sign for another year, as I really love this apartment and building, but I am flexible for now if you can only stay for a few months. Utilities that we pay for are electricity and cable/internet, which run about $90 per month (per person), all others are included (trash, water, etc.). There is garage parking available, for another $100/month. The condo is in a great location, within a 5-minute walk to the Rosslyn Metro, which services the silver, orange and blue lines. The area has plenty of nearby restaurants, and is within a 15 minute walk to Georgetown; 1 metro stop away from DC, 2 stops away from Clarendon and with entrances into the GW Parkway, 66, 50 and 395 extremely close by. It is also a short walk to all the monuments and tourist sights of DC. The building (The Belvedere) has a lot of additional amenities all included in the price of the rent -- 24 hour front desk security, garage parking, a newly renovated gym, pool, sauna, party room, tennis courts, and a market/concierge. About me: I am a female in my early 30s, and I do program management for a healthcare association. I'm very neat in my own space and in communal spaces and am extremely respectful of other people's belongings (I've had my share of nightmare roommate experiences and go to great lengths to be mindful of others). During the week I like to cook, watch TV (addicted to Bravo reality shows!), go to the gym or running, and frequent the occasional happy hour. During the weekends I like traveling, having friends over, and being somewhat athletically active. I am looking for a roommate (no preference for guy or girl) who is willing to be social and friendly in the apartment. I am also looking for someone who'd be comfortable having people over occasionally and who is considerate enough to keep things neat/clean in common areas. Please let me know if you are interested!
