I am looking to sublet my apartment this summer starting May 1st. The sublet will end on August 31st, but I will not be returning in the fall so you can stay in the unit and sign your own lease if you'd like!
This is the ideal apartment for a single student. You'll have literally less than a five minute walk to get to campus in the morning - I used to get up at 8:15 for my 8:30am classes! The building manager is strict about noise, so you'll always have a quiet place to come home to when you need to study or catch up on sleep. The unit is on the third (top) floor of the building, so you won't have to worry about neighbours being noisy above your head. You'll only have one neighbour on the same floor, and I've rarely even heard a peep from them.
The apartment comes fully furnished with a bed, a wardrobe, a desk and chair, and a storage cabinet. In addition, you'll have your own kitchen! The kitchen comes with a stovetop, mini fridge and freezer combo, and lots of counter and cabinet space.All you will need to bring is your own dishes and cookware.
The rent is $640 per month with EVERYTHING included, AND this price stays the same even after the sublet ends. This includes heat, hydro, and your own high speed internet connection. Price can be negotiated within reason.
Laundry facilities are in the basement of the building. Parking is available at additional cost. The only possible drawback of this place is that the unit does not have its own bathroom. The bathrooms are found on every floor of the building and are cleaned twice weekly by a cleaning service.
