Hey! We're looking for a fourth roommate for our four bedroom apt. The room is very large - it was actually the living room, but my roommate moved into the room because it was so big and bright. Can fit whatever you want (current roommate fits 3 dressers, a wardrobe, desk, full bed, night stand, and bookshelf). The wardrobe could potentially be up for sale for $75 (it's originally $300 and it's 2 yrs old). You will also have a shelf closet. The monthly rent is $1110 and the room is available Feb 1st. The apartment is a pre-war elevator building located 2 blocks from the 1 train, close to the B/C trains, steps from several grocery stores, restaurants/bars, and a 10-minute walk to Columbia University. Everything you need is around the corner. Laundry in the building, intercom system, and has an elevator. Superintendent on the premises (very reliable and friendly). Safe neighborhood with lots of students and young professionals. The apartment is a newly-renovated 3-bedroom apartment with hardwood floors, high ceilings, and spacious, sunny bedrooms. Plenty of closet space, bright bathroom, and an updated kitchen with new granite counter tops and brand new stainless steel appliances -- including a dishwasher! About us: You will be living with a 28-year-old female PHD student at Columbia University, and a 31-year-old female professional (former Senior Market Research Analyst who left the corporate world to become a full-time yoga teacher). We found each other through craigslist and it's been an amazing roommate situation! We are friendly, laid-back, quiet and respectful of privacy. We are non-smokers and have no pets. We will be out of the apartment pretty much all day. We are clean, honest, dependable, and hard-working. We have our own independent lives, but from time-to-time we love to share a drink together. About You: Non-smoking female, preferably in your mid to late 20s (or early 30s). Graduate student or young professional. Must be able to pay rent and utilities on-time and be willing to agree to a shared cleaning schedule. We're looking for someone who's friendly & considerate, drama free and drug free. Must be able to provide first month's rent + last month's rent + one month security deposit. We'd like a roommate who's looking for a long-term sublease at least through July 31, 2013.
