Hi there! I have a room available for a long term sublet in a beautiful apartment on the upper east side of Manhattan (Yorkville area). You would be living with my roommate who is a wonderful recent graduate from Columbia University. We're looking for a responsible, laid-back, clean individual, preferably female. Apartment is located on 1st Ave between 91st & 92nd Street (1764 1st Ave) and is a 5th floor walk up, no doorman. The building is a quick 5 minute walk to the 4/5/6 train as well as the M86 Cross-town bus. The M86 stops literally in front of the building making transport to the west side extremely easy. Building is centrally located across the Street from a Duane Reade, grocery store, many restaurants and several laundry mats (no laundry in building). Rent is $1,022/month, not including utilities (Utilities & internet is ~$50/month additional). We are looking for a long term sublet beginning March 1st (or as early as 2/17) through August. Please be prepared to provide 1-2 references, and a proof of income, credit check or proof of student status. We also ask one month rent up front.
