My roommate and I have a room opening up in our apartment. Available April 1st! We need a roommate asap as someone backed out on us. We're asking first month and security to move in but can negotiate if you have trouble with a deposit. The lease is up at the end of July so if things work out we can renew if not don't worry you aren't locked into anything. A little about the house: Its a 3 bedroom with 1 bath, an eat in kitchen with a dishwasher and garbage disposal, we have a washer and dryer in the basement and plenty of storage. It has two living rooms and a weird room that you need to walk through to get to the bathroom that we use as a closet and dressing room. We have a Cat named Rick who is very friendly and two turtles. The house is fully furnished except the room that is for rent. Its a big row home about a 10 minute walk to Main st and the train (norristown/center city) Rent is $465 + utilities ($70-130 depending on the season). A little about us: My(f24) roommate (23f) works in Center City and I'm a grad student at Villanova. We go out on weekend and are 420 friendly. We're clean (her more then me) respectful and would like a roommate we can hang out with. My roommate is a huge foodie, enjoys stand up comedy, ted talks NPR doing things outside in nature and folk music. I like history, yoga, hiking, live jam music, politics, my cat, reading and travel. We both have a decent number of friends who come over irregularly and have boyfriend-ish things who sometimes spend the night. We would like a roommate we can be friends with girl/guy gay/straight we're open and accepting. preferable around our age. As long as your respectful, reasonable and NOT a heavy drinker or a belligerent drunk/drug addict/rapist/ax-murder/circus clown or wook we will try to make it work.
