My boyfriend and I have a room available in our 3 bedroom apartment for short term rental (less than a year). We have just finished painting the available room, and there is a twin bed, desk, chair, side table and lamp. The kitchen is fully stocked with a dishwasher, microwave etc, our building has laundry ($1.50 wash, $1.25 dryer). We have an LCD tv in the living room, wireless router, wireless printer etc. It's quite a comfortable place, and well connected to downtown by Bus # 20 or a short walk (3min) to Hastings St to catch any bus along Hastings. We are a few minutes walk from a bunch of great restaurants, cafes, and specialty grocery stores on Commercial Drive. We are both professional artists and have varied work hours. Non-smoking. No pets. The cost of the rent and utilities and internet all included is $570 monthly. Ideal for SFU or VCC students. Easily accessible to all campuses.
