Hello nomadic/homeless New Yorkers! My current roommate is moving out and I am looking for someone to fill her room. THE APT: Its a 2 bedroom apartment on the ground floor. The room is unfurnished. It has a window that looks into a private backyard (no yard access unfortunately, but keeps the room very quiet and private) and a large closet. There is enough room for a full/queen size bed and dresser or desk. There is also a kitchen and living room with a very open layout and plenty of space. My roommate will be taking most of the living room furniture with her, so there is definitely room for your stuff. If you don't have any stuff, that's fine too! I will make a trip to Ikea... bonus points if you are good at furniture assembly. LOCATION: The neighborhood is pretty amazing... We are 3 blocks away from the Bedford L stop. The Nassau G is about a 10min walk. There are tons of restaurants, bars and coffee shops nearby. McCarren Park and the waterfront are only a few blocks away. There is a laundromat next door. Its really an ideal location. ABOUT ME: I am a female in my late 20's. I work in production. I generally keep office hours, but occasionally travel for shoots. I'm pretty easy going. I like to come home and chill after work. Not one to bring the party home, but happy to hang out and socialize. I'm looking for someone who can pay rent on time and be respectful of others' time and space. You don't need to have OCD, but be able to clean up after yourself, keep the common areas tidy, clean the hair out of the drain, and such because we're adults (or at least trying to be) and its the nice thing to do. The apartment is available for 3-6months, with the possibility of extending further. There is a $1350 security deposit, plus $675 for the second half of July. After that, it is $1350/month, plus utilities (ConEd, internet) split two ways, which usually come out to $50-80/per person. Please hit me up if you are interested or if you have any questions!
