2611 Dana St. · Apartment for Rent

Our 4BR apartment on Dana St., just six blocks south of UCB campus, will have an available bedroom for rent beginning January 1st, 2011. The rent is $616.25 per month, plus utilities. The security deposit required to move in is $1232.50. We're seeking roommate candidates to interview who are interested in moving in at the beginning of January. You will be living with two males and a female, all in their late 20s. We're all very friendly, and fairly quiet. This house has been a total party house with different roommates in the not too distant past, so you must be okay with occasional partying at home despite the fact that it's a rarity currently. The two males share food/household supplies readily and aren't good at keeping track of whose stuff is whose. We don't coordinate meals because our work schedules are so different, though. We're all pretty slack and equitable about chores. We have an amazing backyard that the landlord has landscaped for us, with stone walkways, tables, a hammock, charcoal grills, redwood trees, and so on. We love to have barbecues all summer in the backyard. There's a washer and dryer for us to use for laundry back there as well. The living room has a large HDTV screen hooked up to a Windows 7 Ultimate PC with a few terabytes of disk space and a wireless keyboard/touchpad. We have thousands of Divx, HD, or Blu Ray movies on the media PC in the living room, and most every episode ever made of every good television show. We have a tvtorrents account that we get the latest episodes of new shows from too. You can watch any of these movies or television shows over the wireless network as well; we usually watch stuff in our bedrooms on laptops unless we're watching as a group or have company over. Our ideal candidate will be 420 friendly, open minded, tolerant, geeky, spiritual, good with kids and pets, and discreet. Extra consideration will be made for candidates who provide us with proof of income (payroll stubs or whatnot) and a resume/references that demonstrate stability. Bonus points if you are interested in Arduino development or other hobbyist electronics/chemistry type projects or know what Bluelight is. No couples please. No kids or pets allowed.
