You’ll be staying in the Ocean View area of Norfolk, a relaxed coastal community on the Willoughby Spit peninsula, just a short distance from miles of shoreline and several waterfront spots. This neighborhood blends residential calm with easy access to recreational beach areas, local eateries, and casual shopping. You’re only a few minutes’ drive from outdoor activities like fishing at the Ocean View Fishing Pier and breezy walks along the bayfront shoreline. The area includes familiar local spots, neighborhood cafes, and convenient amenities. Ocean View is known for its laid-back coastal lifestyle, with homes, apartments, and beach access close by. Approximate drive times from your property: Ocean View Fishing Pier & Beach Access: ~2–3 min, West Ocean View Shopping Center & BeachTowne Shoppes: ~5–6 min, Norfolk Naval Base: ~14 min, Little Creek / Naval Amphibious Base areas: ~15 min, Downtown Norfolk: ~20–25 min, Virginia Zoo: ~15–18 min, and Norfolk Botanical Garden: ~18–20 min. Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM to respect our neighbors. Additional fees for smoking indoors: $250, vomit/bodily fluid or waste $250, illegal drug paraphernalia $250, glitter or confetti: $200, unauthorized pets $200 per pet, dirty dishes $50, and missing towel $20 per towel. Pets must not be left alone during your stay, you must pick up after your pet in the yard, and they are not allowed on furniture or beds. No noise complaints are allowed due to pets from neighbors. Evidence of pets on the furniture or beds will incur additional cleaning fees. Cats are not allowed at our property. Any unregistered pet will incur a minimum $250 emergency cleaning & sanitation fee, covering deep cleaning, allergy treatment, odor removal, and extra turnover time. If additional guests are brought beyond the original reservation guest total and the host is not notified, the booking will be canceled immediately with no refund and guests will be required to leave the property. Any additional guests over the amount specified in the reservation will result in a $75 fee per person. Failing to vacate the property by the posted/agreed upon checkout time will result in a $60 per hour (pro rated) late checkout fee.
