1025 Park Place San Mateo · Apartment for Rent

My roommate is moving back to the mid-west, so I'm looking for a new roommate. You'd be added to the lease, which ends May 16, 2016. About the unit: Cost: The current price of the unit is a little over $4,000, but I am grandfathered in to a rent of $3,600. With utilities, internet, renters insurance, trash, etc, your total monthly cost will be around $1880-$1950. Location: Conveniently located next to starbucks, peets, whole foods, habit burger, chipotle, crunch fitness, the good life, etc. .8 miles from Caltrain (Hillsdale) ~ 15 minute walk (really short drive, and I've never had an issue with parking) extremely close to 101 and 92 General: 1 full bathroom with a huge tub Full Washer/Dryer/Dishwasher Central air w/fans in each room Fireplace Balcony Storage: Kitchen/Bathroom: ton of cabinet room Safety: Extremely safe Your room: entirely empty w/medium sized closet and ceiling fan, but the kitchen/dining room/living room are mostly furnished. You will of course have access to the rest of the apartment. 12' x 10' room + 2' x 7' x 6' closet About your roommate: Late 20s (male) software engineer working in the startup scene. Has a very large dog (~160lbs), who's extremely friendly, but drools a ton. You MUST love dogs, otherwise, you'll hate living with us (pets welcome, but at an additional cost as per the lease agreement) Enjoys working out, spending time with my dog, dating, hanging out with friends, alcohol, etc. I've lived in houses with 10+ other men, apartments with 3 women, etc. I know how to be a good roommate. The only issues that I've ever had with people relate to cleanliness. While my dog is messy, I'm very clean. I very rarely leave anything in the sink, trash in the common areas, I take the trash out when it's full, etc. I clean up after myself almost immediately after whatever I do. While I don't necessarily expect you to be as clean as me, I don't want to feel like I'm your parent. I want someone who is mature and responsible. Don't get me wrong, I can be silly and have a ton of fun, but at the same time be an adult. Doesn't necessarily want a best friend as a roommate, but I definitely do NOT want someone who's just going to occupy a room. I'm a pretty social guy, and it would be awesome if we could at least be somewhat social together.
