Hello all - My name is Jeff. I'm seeking a roommate to join me in this excellent apartment in the heart of Lincoln Square from June 1 to August 31. My current roommate is out of town for three months. She has offered to leave her bed, if it's convenient. The apartment is just steps from Welles Park and several fantastic restaurants and bars in the area. There is a large, open front porch overlooking a tree lined street, a backyard with a fire pit, gas grill, and a garden, a wood shop in the basement, and a very large open attic which I have used for the occasional party. Laundry is free. There is ample storage. Garage parking may be an option, but street parking is also very abundant. Damen brown line is about a 7 minute walk, as is Jewel Grocery. The apartment has a great deal of character as it was built in the early 1900s but it has been well-maintained along the way. The appliances in the kitchen are new. Utilities (except water) are not included. I am a 30/m. I'm a freelance graphic/web designer, and also a design student. I'm easy-going, down-to-earth and believe in open, honest communication between roommates. I like keep a clean house and would have some expectation for the roommate join forces with that. I have a 60lb Foxhound named Ygritte (Game of Thrones reference) who is a total sweetie and very well-mannered. I can count the amount of times I've heard her bark on one hand (which is actually kind of bizarre). My hope is to find a similarly laid-back, young professional (male or female) with a stable income to join me here. I like to host the occasional gathering (the fire pit is great for entertaining) and would hope our friends could mingle. The landlord's father lives below and he will often bring by some extra dinner for us. Please don't hesitate to email me with questions.
