Dear future roommate, My current roommate has recently taken a job offer and leaving the city so I am looking for a new roommate. The room will become available on January 1st and I will be looking to fill it immediately. We have lived here over 1.5 years and have loved the condo, neighbors and neighborhood. The Condo: This is a beautiful ground floor condo in a secured building. It is roughly 1100sq ft with a large private patio off the living room. There are many potted plants, lemon tree, etc if you are into gardening. The condo is very bright, clean, quiet and semi furnished once my roommate moves out. There is washer/dryer, dishwasher and wifi in unit. The rooftop is finished with chaise lounges, a grill and 360 views of the bay (GG Bridge, Alcatraz, Coit Tower, downtown) which makes it exceptional for cookouts. The open bedroom is a good size with a well lit window with a view of an atrium and sizable closet space. There are two full bathrooms so you would have your own. There is a secured parking garage as well as a bike storage room. The Neighborhood: Located within walking distance to the heart of North Beach, other areas also accessible include Fisherman's Wharf, Russian Hill, Telegraph Hill and Chinatown. The area is very safe, has access to many public transportation options (muni, cable cars, trolley) restaurants, cafes, bars and entertainment. There are gyms and grocery stores (Safeway, Trader Joe's) within a couple blocks. Currently, the community center located 2 blocks away is being renovated with basketball, tennis, bocce courts, etc. Roommate: I would ideally like to find a like minded roommate that is a young professional, very clean, picks up after themselves, and laid back. I am in management consulting and travel to engagements most weeks. If I am around I enjoy going to the gym, watching sports or grabbing a few drinks on the weekend.
