Hello- My name is Lindsay and I am looking for a roommate to fill an unfurnished bedroom in my Cap Hill apartment starting on February 1st. I'll fill you in on the space first and then I'll tell you about me! The room is a part of a 910 square foot garden-level apartment in the heart of Denver. You would have a bedroom with your own bathroom; however, it is the guest bathroom closest to the shared living space. This is a garden level apartment in a 6 floor condo with great amenities like an indoor pool, coin operated laundry, sauna, westward (mountain) facing rooftop deck. Cheeseman Park is less than two blocks away, as well as two grocery stores, a 711, some local bars and restaurants. Now about me! I am a 26 year old professional who works Monday to Friday. The weeknights do tend to be mellow and filled with with some wine-down wine or some 420 self medication- so come be green! The weekends are spent hitting the town for live music with friends or getting away to the mountains for some fresh-air outdoor activities, like hiking and snowboarding. I do have one super cute cat who is skittish at first but then (once she knows you) she becomes a big cuddle bug! I am open to any gender roommate--just want someone who is respectful of shared space, pays rent on time and wants to have a friend as a roomie. If you seek more quiet time and solitude, we probably won't be the best fit. I'm originally from Pennsylvania and I moved to Colorado in March of 2014. The room is available February 1st and ends on October 1st. The rent is $700 a person plus around $30-50 for remaining utilities. I have renewed this lease once and may consider signing on for another year but it's up in the air. If you are an out-of-towner and are looking to make a big move, this is probably a great fit for you! My first 8 months in Denver were spent living with a random Craigslist roommate and it was a wonderful situation.
