Hello, I'm looking for a new roommate to share a Logan Square second floor walk-up with. My old roommate is moving to the West Coast for a new job. My new roommate will preferably be in their late 20s or 30s, drug-free, smoke-free, unemployment-free, mess-free and pet-free (I'm willing to budge on the pet thing. Pet must be special) Grill and/or hammock owners will be doubly preferred. Also, you will be required to do some physical labor from time to time. We have a deal with the landlord to maintain the lawn and sidewalks in exchange for a slight rent discount. We're close to the California Blue Line stop and night life stuff, like Logan Arcade. A lil' about me: I'm a 30 year old woman who works at Whole Foods. My top three loves in life in no particular order are; 1) watching baseball, 2) commuting to work by bicycle, and 3) drinking beer. If you consider your home to be your sanctuary and hit any one of these three Bs we'll probably get along. A lil' about the place: It's a second floor apartment in a two story walk-up. There's an attic that we have access to. You can use our place as a wood shop or studio space since I'm not doing anything with it. There's a pretty nice backyard with garden space, too. Free on-street parking (non-permit) and free laundry in the basement. We have central heat and A/C, although the A/C didn't work last summer. We'll have to get the landlord on that when it comes time. The room is pretty small and doesn't have a closet, but you'll have full use of the walk-in pantry, which makes for a large walk-in closet!
