THE APARTMENT:
- One bedroom will be available in a 2 bedroom basement apartment located in Adams Morgan
- The price of $1,000/month plus utilities (runs about $100 a month)
- I am looking for a person to move in sometime between January 24 through February 1st for a one year lease.
- Both the room and the main living area are unfurnished (though departing roommate may negotiate selling some furnishings at a reduced price if interested).
-There is a washer and dryer available in the unit.
- AC and heat
- There is permit street parking (Zone 1).
-Shared patio area
- Kitchen has fridge (with freezer), garbage disposal, dishwasher, electric range,
-Wi-fi internet and access to Comcast account is available
-Though this is a basement apartment, the unit has it's own private entrance and is only shared with one other
person.
THE ROOMMATE:
- He is nice, respectful, lives active lifestyle and owns two miniature dachshunds (whom also live in the apartment).
- He's in his late 20's and works for a Commercial Real Estate company.
-He enjoys watching football (college and NFL), basketball (NBA), ESPN, American Horror Story, Empire, Gotham, Housewives of Atlanta, Mob Wives, Bad Girls Club, Scandal, How to Get Away with Murder, Game of Thrones, Random Bravo Shows, Netflix, and other shows.
-He also plays recreational dodgeball and kickball.
THE LOCATION:
- Located in Adams Morgan near the Florida end of the strip.
- The Dupont metro (Red Line) is walking distance and bikeable.
- There are multiple bus routes around that go downtown that are within a 2-5 minute walk of the house.
- The neighborhood is safe and quiet. I have walked home multiple times at night and have never felt unsafe.
- There are lots of new restaurants and bars near the metro station.
- Dry cleaners,7-11, and many local shops and artisans are close by.
ABOUT YOU:
The ideal roommate would be a responsible professional or graduate student. Should be gay friendly and pet
friendly.
No drug users or smokers.

Apartment is available for viewing during the week at night and some weekends. Interested persons will be required to complete an application through the rental agency and undergo a credit check.
