There are two other tenants who are graduate students (late 20's) Great location only 5 blocks southeast of Sloan's Lake Park and its mountain views, 5 minutes to the Auraria campus, Highlands, LoDo and downtown. Located 3 blocks from a new light rail station on the West line connecting to downtown and Golden. Easy access anywhere via Federal, I-25 and Hwy 6, as well as biking/running trails nearby. West Colfax is undergoing significant revitalization, with a new library, residential units and other developments being built within blocks of the house. I always recommend checking out the neighborhood if you're not familiar with the area. Looking for a House Captain available to move in March 2016 who would enjoy living here while employing some basic property management skills for a fairly low-maintenance property, which includes responsibilities such as: - Communicate with landlord and roommates - Maintain lawn and plants - Perform occasional house maintenance (handy skills a plus) - Facilitate minor home improvement projects, as needed The House Captain will live in the garden-level room about 650 sq. ft. finished with a full private bath -- it's almost like having your own apartment. It has a relatively high ceiling, great daylight from south-facing windows, and shares a kitchen with two house mates on main level. Rent is $500 plus utilities (avg $65/month with 3-way split, paid 1-month in advance). The room would normally rent for $600, so compensation is $100/month. Includes a parking space in garage. Requires a 9-month lease, available to start in March 2016 (end in December 2016). Experience in home ownership or caring for a house is preferred, and candidate should be prepared to work at least several hours a month and take pride in maintaining the house and yard in good condition. These should typically require basic lawn care and occasional maintenance. An ideal candidate will be a working professional who is responsible, reliable, responsive and preferably a bit handy. Looking for someone who is clean, friendly and has good social skills. Roommates are two mature, laid back, drama-free guys who enjoy socializing, hobbies and being outdoors. They each have a 12-month lease and have undergone a thorough screening process to ensure you'll be living with trustworthy, respectful people. Neighbors are friendly and share a sense of community. No smoking and no pets (dogs/cats), no exceptions!
