I am seeking a roommate for February 1st
About the place:
It is a 2-bedroom, 1 bath townhouse in a 12-unit courtyard-style building. The place is set up so as to have both a living and dining area. Bedrooms are upstairs, with the bathroom situated in between them. Fully furnished, it has a TV, dishwasher, etc. Coin laundry is in the courtyard. The patio is large, and during the summer gets sunshine all day long, with a good view for sunsets as well. The building is quite quiet, though occupied primarily by younger people (~25-35) so everyone is quite respectful and understanding. The bedroom is furnished (although I can remove anything if you have your own stuff), though the bed does belong to my friend who will be likely wanting it back when he moves back from Montreal this coming summer.
About me: I am in Hospitality as a career, and currently am bartending professionally. I work a mix of days and nights, and do keep strange hours. I am a heavy sleeper so I will never be bothered by you being awake at any time. I am rarely home, but when I am I like to listen to music, cook dinner (for friends, and you, and whoever), play cards/board games, drink delicious things, and chill out. Often I get home late, so if you are an ultra-light sleeper it might be a rough go. I do not keep a "party house" but I do like to have friends over sometimes for good conversation. I am a "sharing-is-caring" kind of person, and hope you are as well.
About you:
Ideally you are or have been in the hospitality/service industries and are also a night-owl. You enjoy eating and drinking delicious things, listening to good tunes, and having fun, both by going out and staying in. I am looking for a person who is clean but by no means a clean-freak; I like my home to feel and be homey and lived in, not clinically clean and sterile. You and I both should feel comfortable cooking a meal and leaving a couple pans soaking or whatever without facing "the wrath" of a neat-freak roommate. 420friendly is preferable but by no means a must. Trust and integrity are a must.
