Rent is $600/month plus your share of the utilities which includes wifi, heat/hot water and electricity,usually about $40/month (can go up to $50 depending on season).
The apartment is a bright spacious corner unit on the 2nd floor, with a balcony that's great for BBQ's.Bonus-neighbors are great!
Your bedroom is large, has a double door, full sized closet, (and can be furnished with a twin bed with storage drawers, a desk, lamp, and the necessary linens.)
The apartment building is a non smoking, well kept, older 3 story walkup in a safe, convenient location. *Coin laundry is available in the building and there is plenty of free street parking available too.
Transit stats: It's a 7 min max walk to the Marine Drive Canada Line Station and is 3 stops away from King Edward Station to catch the 33/25 buses if you go to UBC or need to travel for work. And it's only 1 stop away from Langara College. You can be downtown in less than 15 minutes via the Canada Line. Directly across the street from the building is the #100 bus, the #17 Oak and more to assist your commuting needs.
Amenities: At Marine Drive Canada Line Station there's a brand new mall that includes a Shoppers Drug Mart, T&T, and a brand new Winners! A 5 min bus ride away is Superstore (15 min walk). Within blocks there's also 24hr food options like McDonald's, Denny's, Subway, and a Husky convenience store.
You're only a 10 min walk to all the major banks, Safeway, a BC Liquor Store, 24hr 7-Eleven, hair and nail salons, gyms and yoga studios, walk-in clinics/pharmacies, Library, dollar stores, and thrift stores.
There's even a little pub called the Yard where you can unwind and play a game of darts or pinball and all of these are located right on Granville Street! Plus there's the #10 Granville NightBus that runs 24hrs a day, every single day so there's always transit to get you home!
