About the roommate: I am a 28-year-old female professional working full-time in downtown Toronto. I am conscientious, extremely clean, level-headed, and non-religious. My interests include social justice, music, good conversation, travelling, and the internet. I enjoy chatting or having dinner with my roommates but am also respectful of their privacy. Who I am looking for: I am looking for someone around my age who is very clean, good-natured, responsible, mature, and has a good sense of humour. Location: The apartment is a five minute walk to Davisville Subway Station. Sobeys grocery, two produce shops, and a drugstore are located nearby. It takes approximately 25 minutes to reach Union Station by subway. The apartment: The apartment is a 900 square foot, 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment on the main floor of an older, but well-maintained house. There is air conditioning, a dishwasher, and a backyard. There is also a basement with a washer/dryer and storage space. The room: The room includes one wardrobe but is otherwise unfurnished. Costs: Rent includes heat, water, snow removal, landscaping, and parking. We will share the additional cost of renting the hot water tank ($6.50/each/month), hydroelectricity (aprox. $35.00/each/month), and internet ($22.60/each/month). Allergies: I am allergic to pets and smoke. Accessibility: Unfortunately the apartment is not wheelchair accessible. I use scented soaps and detergents.
