I will be moving at the end of the month and looking for a respectful & responsible roommate to take my place in a 2-bedroom apartment in the River North area. THE LOCATION & BUILDING Located on Kingsbury St., near Larrabee St. (closest major intersection is Chicago Ave. and Larrabee St.). The unit has a loft-style and is on tenth floor of the Domain Condominiums. The building and the neighborhood mostly consists of young working adults and families. There is FREE parking for guests, no permit or restrictions at all, on Kingsbury Street and surrounding side streets. Although the apartment has free street parking, the rent INCLUDES a parking spot in an indoor heated garage, directly connected to the building. It’s a great location, as the building is centrally located to the following surrounding neighborhoods: Lincoln Park, West Loop, Old Town, and River North. Building amenities include 24-hour door staff, fitness center, community room, roof top deck, and running track with amazing skyline views. THE APARTMENT 2bedroom, 2 bathroom + den/office. It has an updated kitchen with all stainless steal appliances, large living room, and hardwood floors. The bedroom up for lease has a walk in closet, easily fits a queen-size bed, nightstand, and dresser. The unit has an in-unit washer/dryer and large coat closet. NO PETS, NO SMOKING. We have a great landlord, who we deal with directly and is super responsive. THE ROOMMATE My current roommate (who will be staying at the apartment) is a 26-year-old female. She works in the insurance industry (normal 8-5 type schedule), so she’s usually pretty busy and mellow during the week, but likes to go out and have fun on the weekends. We don’t party in our apartment and like to keep it very clean & tidy. We’re looking for someone who has a similar lifestyle. THE DETAILS Available March 1st, 2016, with a lease termination on April 30th, 2016. Ideally, we are looking for someone who would want to extend the lease on April 30th with my roommate; however, if you are looking for a two month sublease, totally fine too. Rent is $1,400 + ComEd (I’ve lived in this unit for 9 months and paid an average $20/month for MY HALF). Rent INCLUDES cable, Wi-Fi, and indoor heated parking space.
