I'm subletting my one bedroom apartment in Edgewater. I LOVE the apartment and neighborhood but am working at UIC and the commute is a bit much for me. About the location: It's right across the street from Mariano's and 3 blocks from Jewel. Three blocks away from the Berwyn Red line stop. The 146/147/151 buses to the loop stop right outside the door. The lake is 2 blocks away. There are nice bars and restaurants nearby on clark street. About the building: The apartment is a great size for me but would also be comfortable for a couple. There is a key to enter the building and a doorman at night. There is laundry in the basement and a gym on the top floor. Pets under 50 lbs are allowed. Parking is available but you must get on a waiting list and pay $155 per month. I don't have a spot but have not ever had trouble finding street parking. The lease is until August 2016 with option for renewal. The subletter would have to be approved by the landlord and put on the lease. The unit can be furnished or unfurnished.
