About the room: Spacious basement room available on the 400 block of Newton pl NW with a private bathroom, in addition to two private entrances. Private bathroom includes a clawfoot tub and shower. The lease start date is April 1st, but an earlier move in possible if need be. Your rent includes a private parking space in the backyard in addition to a monthly maid service. About the house: Newly restored row house in an up and coming neighborhood. All bathrooms and kitchen have been recently remodeled with new appliances. There are two large living rooms with access to the front yard and backyard. The backyard includes a paved patio and grill. The house is less than a 10 minute walk from the Georgia Ave. metro station (.4 miles), a 10 minute walk to Safeway, and a 7 minute walk from the 63, 64, and H8 bus. We love animals, but unfortunately no pets. About us: We are 3 young professionals (2 girls, one guy) who are very laid back and friendly. We get along with most people unless you're awful, and like to host BBQs/parties/and generally go out and have fun. One of us works in consulting, one works for Smithsonian, and the other in nonprofit technology. Things we like: carbonated water, motorcycles, potlucks, friends, getting tagged in cute instagram pictures of dogs. Things we don't like: drama, mean people, when people smash your pumpkin the day before Halloween and you were really looking forward to carving it. We aspire to be neat and keep common areas clean, but by no means are neat freaks. Very openly communicate with one another and never have had any issues!
