Are you an awesome, laid-back person hoping for a wonderful roomie? I've just moved in to this beautiful little apartment, so the space is a blank canvas to merge our design tastes. It's also perfect for someone who's bringing some furniture along, as I don't have living room furniture. If you don't have any, no worries - you'll get to add valued input during an Ikea trip! Paid laundry on-site. Friendly for cats and small dogs. Street Parking available if you’re gone during the days (only 1 hour parking from 9am - 6pm mon-sat). Safe neighbourhood - lots of dogs, lots of parks, lots of kids. Organic grocery store next door; Loblaws and Freshco within 15 minutes biking. It’s a 20 minute walk to the east-west subway line, or a 10 minute bus ride to rosedale station (north-south on yonge). About Me: I'm an extraverted 28-year-old working, professional, female-bodied queer who loves board games and outdoorsing. I’m home most weekday evenings, and gone most weekend days. During the summer, I’m off camping and hiking almost every weekend. I’m more of a homebody during the cold months. Board games are my version of a party. And maybe some wine. I enjoy cooking. I’m fairly mainstream, but I try to be active in my community, and be aware of the people around me. I’m addicted to Netflix, chocolate, cycling, and working. I go to bed before 11 and wake before 7 every day, even on weekends (give or take an hour). About You: You're around your late 20's and all about the adulting. You don’t party and drink too much, but you don’t mind a few drinks here and there, either (or if you're sober, you're OK with people around you drinking). You're fairly outgoing in that you don't mind people over sometimes. You keep a fairly regular sleep schedule, and aren't up late on weekdays. You want a family-like atmosphere in your home. You're not passive aggressive (or you try not to be), and like to communicate openly. And you're not allergic to cats. I don't have one, but it's something I'm considering if you're not bringing a pet. I'd love to hear from you, and can show the place most evenings and weekends.
