We are two ladies and a cat seeking a third roommate to join our home immediately. You can stay either until May 1, or until September 1 with option to renew. If you join us for April, your first month of utilities will be free! You will be taking over a cozy bedroom (optional furnishing includes futon, dresser and desk) in a lovely house in the heart of Hintonburg. We have a well-sized kitchen, a washer and dryer, a living room with HD TV and Blu-Ray player, a large basement to store extra stuff, and a beautiful backyard shared with our friendly landlords. We are a 3 minute walk from the 2 and 14 (15 minutes to downtown), and a 10 minute walk from Bayview O-train/Transitway station, making this location great for uOttawa and Carleton students. Neighborhood amenities in walking distance include many bars and restaurants, Dollarama, Subway, GT Xpress, Mac's and a small grocery store. Metro and Loblaws are a short bus/drive away, and we are close to Chinatown, Westboro and Little Italy. My roommate is a music teacher and French translator in her 30s, and I am a Carleton student in her 20s with a cat. We are both relaxed, friendly people who like tidy common areas and quiet nights. We're looking for someone with similar attitudes. Overnight guests and the occasional get together are fine, but parties are not. We love animals and all pets are welcome, but dogs aren't allowed in the backyard. Smoking is outside only. Rent is $450/month. Internet is included but we pay gas, hydro and water, usually around $70-90/person/mo (less in the summer).
