Our house is 3 blocks from a ton of amenities including: Whole Foods, 24-Hour CVS, Starbucks, Panera, Best Buy, Container Store, Tenleytown Library, Burger Tap & Shake, Jimmy John's, Ace Hardware, Wilson Pool, and coming soon, a Chick-Fil-A, District Taco, and Jose Andres' Beefsteak. Also 3 blocks from the Tenleytown Metro station (Red line) and multiple bus lines including: to Georgetown, crosstown, and our favorite line, the 96! The available room is on the second floor and is $800 per month, plus utilities. (We split utilities four ways - each person usually ends up paying around $80-$100 per month. We have cable and WIFI in the house.) There is a full (shared) bathroom upstairs, as well as a half bath on the main floor. Since we are sharing the bathroom, we are looking for a female roommate. Our house has abundant sunlight and a great back porch with outdoor furniture. There is 1 (free) parking spot available in the back of the house. *** Note- This room is on the (very) SMALL side- it fits a full bed and 1 small dresser and nothing else. It has hardwood floors and a large window. This room is ideal if you travel or work a lot, and are not home often. Also, it is unfurnished. *** About us: One of us works for an environmental non-profit, one is an art teacher and one works in marketing. We enjoy creative pursuits, working out (bicycling, running), and cooking, baking etc. We are quiet and keep shared spaces clean and tidy. * The lease is month-to-month. No pets in the house.
