Room to rent - available starting May 1 (move in date flexible). The room is about 10x10 with a standard size closet, my roommate currently has a queen bed and dresser in the room. You would have your own bathroom (just outside the room). The row house was renovated in 2003 and turned into four condo units. There is a small porch out front to share. I'm a 28 year old female. I've been in the DC area for about four years. I purchased the condo in March 2015. I'm easy going and enjoy being active. During the week I'm pretty low key with work and exercise. Sometimes happy hour, going to an event, or having a glass of wine at home. On the weekends I like to check out events, new restaurants/bars, and be outside if the weather is nice. I keep the condo clean but am not overly particular. I'm looking for someone who is also a professional, easy to get along with, and keeps the common areas (living room/kitchen) clean. No preference on male or female. 10 min walk to the Shaw/Howard metro and very close to many bus routes (G2, G8, 70, 79, 90, 92, 96, X3. Right by Big Bear Cafe, Meats & Foods, KoChix, Boundary Stone, Red Hen, and there is a cider house (Anxo) and new bar coming soon right next door. It's about a 15 minute walk to U Street or Union Market. Giant, Safeway, or Harris Teeter are within about a 10-15 minute walk too. There is no parking spot, but street parking in the area isn't hard to find. All utilities are included in rent.
