222 Elm Street · Apartment for Rent

Hello all! I have a room for rent in my two-bedroom apartment, located at Elm St/McCaul Street.The building is called "Elm Place"/ "Elm Apartments". It houses mostly young adults, the majority of which I will assume are students like myself. Friendly people, I love this building! The room itself has lots of closet space (and so does the apartment in general), a HUGE window, and can come furnished or unfurnished, you decide. I won't waste time typing out how dope this pad is because it speaks for itself; come and take a look. The building has a gym in the basement as well. I like to get a morning jog in when I can; stretch those hamstrings and get that heart pumping. There are laundry facilities in the basement as well. Sometimes management will organize social events for the tenants, providing drinks and food. It's bliss. The location is awesome! China-town? U of T Campus? OCAD? LCBO(s)? Ryerson? Downtown Core? Sobeys? Loblaws? You're there in 5-10 minutes (the latter two are about 10-15 minutes). Seriously. The area itself is very nice, right across from Baldwin Street with some nice restaurants, and Pubs are close as well, we're smack dab in the middle of Dundas St. and College St. Whichever way you go you'll find cheap pints. I could go on and on. There's also an amazing rooftop patio, it's great during the summer! (See picture provided for that glorious view) A little bit about me: I'm a student at Ryerson University, and also working part time. I am hygienic and very respectful. Most of the time I am not in the apartment, so it's pretty quiet. Even when I am home it's still pretty tame on my end. I’m a chill roomie, and open-minded to living with anyone. $745 + hydro (ends up being between $40-60 – we split that) There's no Wi-Fi at the moment but that can change. (I personally found Bell's service to be mediorce at best,and am currently looking into other Internet Service Providers, might get on that Roger's tip) First and Last month's rent required. It's a one year sublet, with the possibility of extension when it ends, should you wish to continue living here. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask me.
