Hi There I took on a new lease April 1st, and I am looking for a roommate for the 2nd bedroom in my real 2B apt. I'm looking for a single professional who is busy, not working from home, respectful, easy to get along with, clean and pay rent on time -- basically normal. P.S. This is a gay friendly apt and I am not anal about cleaning but if you don't wash your dishes after you eat/cook/or spill something on the floor - this place is probably not for you Location: The apartment is in the perfect location. It's half a block from the E&M train -- 1 stop from the city -- less than 5 min to Lex and 53rd Street. About 3 blocks to the 7 train Court Square stop. 5-7 mins walk to the G train and also a walking distance to the N & Q. The building is literally in front of the Cliff: climbing and fitness. / be careful you might get addicted. Moma PS1 and post office are 3 blocks away. We have an amazing super and an amazing landlord. If something is broken they will fix it same day or within a very reasonable time. Safe gated building with intercom system. You'll often see decorations on the wall for the various holidays. The apt: 3rd Floor easy walkup, hardwood floors throughout, the living room is very large and comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped, and walls are freshly painted. No smoking. No pets. I just moved in so still organizing everything Your room: Room measurements approx.156'' * 81'', the layout of the room can be better since it is narrow and long, nevertheless, it is very livable. I spoke to the previous tenant and you can fit there a pull out bed/futon, a single or a full bed. The room comes unfurnished. Large built in closet with a room for storage on top. 1 Window. About me: I am in my late 20's (F). I'm pretty busy working in the financial industry. In the mornings, I usually leave around 7-8:30 am and come back from work around 6:30 -- 10:00 pm. I am pretty laid back, quiet and like to keep it to myself when I'm home, drama free, and needs zero attention. Since this is NYC and everyone has a crazy roommate story -- I just want to make sure you are legit. Requirements to move in: Move in date: Flexible -- May 1st or any time before First month rent and deposit paid via bank check Credit report (only once we both decide to go forward) Copy of ID Rent is $1300 Utilities are included (Heat, Water, Gas, Electricity, and Internet).
