I'm looking for a professional male or female in their 20s or 30s to fill one bedroom of a two bedroom apartment starting around May 15th or June 1st. You would be taking over a portion of the lease that ends August 31st, with an option to renew the lease for September 1st. The apartment is wonderful! Construction ended less than a year ago, so everything is sparkling and new. It has wood floors, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, washer/dryer in-unit; an indoor gym with fitness studio, spinning studio, and workout classes; business center with computers, printers, and work rooms with massive white boards; a dog park and dog grooming; 24-hour concierge and dry cleaning; phenomenal lounges that people actually use; and, most importantly, a GORGEOUS rooftop with a pool, grills, fireplaces, outdoor television, lounge areas, tables, nighttime lighting, and beautiful views of the city. We're conveniently located across the street from a 24/7 Safeway, Vida Fitness, Chipotle, Sweetgreen, Mandu, Ray’s Hellburger, Busboys & Poets, A Baked Joint, ACE Hardware, Q West Nails, Soul Cycle, and so many other places. And, the building is just a few minutes from the Gallery Place/Chinatown and Mt Vernon/7th Street Convention Center metros (yellow/green/red), and only 15 minutes to Metro Center (blue/orange). Parking is available for $195/month. Cats and dogs are more than welcome! The available room is a large bedroom with an attached bathroom and massive walk-in closet. The room can maybe come furnished with the bed and two nightstands, but can also be cleared if you have furniture you would like to keep. The rest of the apartment is fully furnished (and the kitchen is massive and fully stocked), but we can make room for anything you want to bring. A bit about me -- I'm a mid-20s professional female who works a ton of hours (my 9-5 is 13+ hours and I teach ballet on the weekends). When I'm not working, I'm generally squeezing in dinner or drinks with friends, trying to hit the gym, or hobbitting watching Netflix and drinking wine. I'm looking for a roomie who is kind and courteous, relatively clean, and mature. I would love to be able to grab a drink or hangout, but don’t expect to be best friends – Ideal roomie nights for me involve pizza and movies. Also, I work for the government so need to live with someone who doesn't do drugs and won't have anyone over who will in the apartment.
