One of our lovely roommates is leaving and we are looking for someone friendly to replace her for May 1st! We are sharing an amazing renovated 3 bedroom house with private backyard and deck conveniently located at Christie and Bloor. The room for rent is on the second floor of the house and gets lots of sunlight. The kitchen and common areas are fully furnished. The roommate moving out is willing to leave her mattress behind for free, or it can be removed and you can bring your own. Emily is 25 and has also recently just moved back to Toronto for a job with the Ontario government after living in Halifax and Calgary. We are both laid back, quite organized, friendly and easy to live with. We enjoy spending time with our roommates, watching Netflix or having dinner and wine, but also spending time on our own or outside the house! We would love our new roommate to be around our age (mid 20s to early 30s) and with a similar schedule (usually commuting/at work from 8 to 7, so no crazy party on week days :) ) We would prefer to live with a female, but would consider living with a male if it’s the right fit. The house was recently renovated to have an open concept main floor to give you lots of space and natural light. The kitchen has a gas stove, granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher, and a brand new refrigerator. There is also a large pantry for food and extra kitchen appliances. The in-suite washer and drier are conveniently located just off the kitchen. A two piece bathroom was added to the main floor and the brick wall was exposed to give the space a warm and rich feel. For the hot summer months in Ontario, we have an amazing private backyard and back deck, and air-conditioning! Upstairs the bedrooms have updated built-in closet organizers and a linen closet in the hallway for extra storage. Gas and hydro are not included in the rent.
