Our local bars have all of the libation that you require and yet is still crawling distance from your front door. You want to check out movie stars in their natural habitat as they push their screaming privileged kids to Ft. Greene Park. You are amazed by upwardly mobile people with their dogs huddled in front of coffee shops talking about how this is "the real Brooklyn". You enjoy plays and concerts at BAM and Barclay's Center so you'll now be super close to both. We have public tennis courts close by. I've never used them so anything that I tell you about it would speculation. The density of Citi Bank rental bike out of control. Close to grocery stores, laundry and dry cleaning. About the room: large fully furnished room with hardwood floors, 70 inch flat screen tv, Xbox 360 (you need to set up your own account with Microsoft to get Netflix or just connect your laptop to tv), air conditioner, ceiling fan, large bay windows, couch, chair, tables, full sized bed. Like having an apartment within an apartment. $1300 includes utilities. Common areas are comfortable furnished living room, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, full sized shared bathroom. High speed wireless internet, cable in living room. Keeping the common areas clean is a must so rotating cleaning schedule required. Share on the purchase of TP, dishwasher / dish detergent, trash bags..... This is not a hotel or an Air B&B situation so treat this place accordingly. Above all things you must be respectful of your roommates possessions and personal space. Home is sanctuary. Drama will not be tolerated. Month to Month but seeking long term roommates.
