I am a professional female with a room for rent (unfurnished) in a comfortable and spacious suite, available June 1st. The apartment is in a 4 unit building, on the 2nd floor. There are 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, very large kitchen and living room, and a dining room.
Ideally you are someone without much, if any, furniture except for your bedroom items. There is laundry in the basement and a back parking area. There is also a huge backyard/garden that my neighbour across the hall and the caretaker living downstairs, make beautiful in the spring.
Your bedroom has tons of storage space - 3 closets and a row of overheard storage as well.
There is a bus stop across the street, that takes 2 minutes to get you to St. Clair west subway station. Most days you can get downtown in 10-15 minutes.
There is a beautiful park nearby with trails for walking and a tennis court, and Loblaws, Rexall, banks, Starbucks, restaurants etc. are either a 7 minute walk North or 2 minute bus ride South.
I am looking for a clean, considerate and reasonably quiet professional or student. A non-smoker is ideal (no smoking in the apartment).
I also have 2 cats, and am looking for someone with no pets. My current roommate brought in a kitten and one of my cats has not dealt well with it, I would like to avoid continuing to stress her out.
Rent is $800.00 due on the 1st of each month, and that includes everything - hydro, internet, etc.
I am asking for first and last month's rent - one half payable immediately once we agree we would like to live together (as a deposit) and the other half payable on June 1st. I would prepare an agreement we would both sign to confirm the deposit was received.
I am also hoping for a minimum 6 month commitment and at least one reference.
I work Monday to Friday, 9 - 5, am super easygoing and considerate, I'm a runner, dancer, vegetarian, hobby photographer...
