Hello, I'm looking for one roommate in a 3br/2b. Our current lease is up at the end of May so I'm looking for someone to sign a new lease starting 1 June. Rent: $1,195/mo plus Utilities (~80/mo each)
The Room: A 9"6 x 10"6 -- this is a cozy room with two windows and a fantastic view of Chinatown Arch. This room comes furnished or unfurnished as the current roommate may consider selling furniture.
The apartment: 1153 sq ft apartment. Large living room, two bathrooms, newer appliances, and in-unit washer and dryer. You would share a bathroom with one another roommate. The dining room is furnished but living room furniture is more than welcome as the couches/coffee table will be going with an outgoing roommate. However, there are also plenty of move-out sales in the building to find furniture.
The building: Secure, modern high rise with a lot of great amenities: 24/7 concierge, year-round heated rooftop pool and hot tub, gym, yoga room, trash chute, business center, and responsive management. The pool deck has a beautiful view of the Capitol. Parking is available for an extra fee.
The location: 2.5 blocks from the Judiciary Square Metro stop, 3 blocks from the Gallery Place/Chinatown stop, and ~1.5 blocks from the Georgetown Circulator route. Close to Chinatown restaurants, shops, and nightlife, the National Mall, Georgetown Law, Union Station, and more. There's a CVS across the street and a Safeway ~3 blocks away.
About Me: An easy-going young professional male in my mid-twenties and from the Midwest. I work downtown, play rec softball and tennis, and go out with friends on the weekends. I have friends over occasionally on the weekends but nothing crazy.
About you: Fun and Easy Going. Of course, I want people who are considerate, mature, and responsible and will keep common spaces clean.
