My current roommate is moving to Montreal and place will be available September 1st. If location is important to you this is a great neighbourhood! You will be are right across Runnymede subway station in Bloor West Village! 1 minute walk to No Frills, LCBO, health food stores, surrounded by delicious bakeries (there is at least 3 gyms within 10min radius as well to burn it all of or go become a runner like every 2nd person in this neighbourhod), butcher shops, restaurants & 'meh' bars! 10 minute walk to High Park and less than 15 minute subway ride to Downtown! It's a single detached home with a large backyard and a porch. We share the backyard but not the porch. It's a 2 bedroom apartment on the second floor of the house. Your room has a large window (facing east) so there's lots of sunshine and you could fit a king size bed. It has a good size closet but I can provide a dresser as well. What you are sharing: kitchen, dining room, living and bathroom, laundry & internet The not-so-great? If you like modern condo look, this is not it. It's an old house and the bathroom is fairly small but comes with a claw tub, small sink and a functioning toilet. Nothing fancy. The rest of the house is fully furnished so unfortunately other than your own bedroom and kitchen stuff, I am not able to accommodate anything else. $820 includes all utilities, laundry and internet Parking is not included but you can get street parking permit from the city. About your potential roommate: I work at a University so its a 8-4 gig. I like to think I'm pretty friendly and easy to get along with. I'm also on the spectrum of a clean, most days good days I'm organized person who likes doing dishes but hates folding laundry. I renovated the kitchen and have build the bench for the dining room (see photos). I do bake and cook quite a bit and may have a friend or two over dinner few times a month. I prefer going out on weeknights over weekends. You will also share the common space with fuzzy, cute, friendly well-behaved short-haired indoor neutered cats.
