* A room at a home on the Emeryville-Oakland border, located on a quiet street. We are two roommates, and 2 cats.
*Our neighborhood is composed of retirees, single and partnered professionals, families, a daycare, a private grade-school taxi business, a building contractor, and an auto repair shop. A 6th -- 12th grade school is located on the next block going East.
*We are within walking distance from Lanesplitter Emeryville, Pac 'N Save, the Bay Bridge-Emeryville shopping complex (Starbucks, Nordstrom Rack, Ulta, Taco Bell, Home Depot, Best Buy, Michaels, Pet Club, Office Depot), AC Transit, MacArthur BART, Kaiser Oakland, PIXAR, Arizmendi Emeryville, IKEA, Panera Bread and Target-Emeryville. The Emeryville Bay Street Shopping Center, The BayBridge Center, and the Public Market Emeryville are a few more minutes away. We are two BART stops away from UC Berkeley. AC Transit, and Emery-Go-'Round are very accessible.
*The room is 144 sq. feet, and it has one window facing west with a mini-blind. The room is equipped with a ceiling fan/light, three wall sconces, and natural sunlight. The room has hardwood floors, a closet with a door mirror attached, closet shelf, and 2 clothing poles. There is a mini-fridge in the room. Another tidbit about the room, which is a part of the Craftsman charm of the house; the room has two entry doors, one facing north/south, and the other door facing east/west.
The room is currently furnished with a desk and a chair. If the tenant-to-be prefers that these items remain in the room, I can leave these items in the room. If the tenant-to-be requests that all or some of the furnishings be removed, I can remove some or all of these furnishings in the room.
*Share kitchen, bathroom, washer/dryer, front and back porches, and backyard. There is on-street parking.
? Financial Details and Utilities: Moving In: The total to move in is $1850 ($925 first month's rent + $925 deposit). Deposit is returned to you within 30 days of moving out, less unpaid bills/damages. Equal split on electricity, water, and garbage, depending on number of roommates residing. Cable TV, or satellite hook-up is fine - roommate would need to sign-up with the various carriers offering these services as we haven't signed up for this utility for ourselves. An outlet jack for a land line/DSL is in the room. We have an equal split on our existing cable internet.
* No pets, as we have 2 cats. No drugs, no smoking, & no drinking.
