*This is for a single 224 sq. ft. room in a two bedroom apartment, the other bedroom is not available.* My two roommates are moving out and I need to find 1-2 people to take their place. I have lived in this apartment with an asian couple and for the past 8 months two women. I realize there might be some hesitation in sharing an apartment with a person of the opposite gender but it is something I prefer (more clean!) and am in a committed relationship. I respect boundaries as much as I expect mine to be respected. I am a clean, courteous, educated, white 24 year old male bartender with a social media business on the side. I don't smoke cigarettes, keep fit, love to cook, and have a trained bilingual dog named Dexter. I mostly keep to myself but am quite friendly and enjoy conversation. I've often been accused of being too polite. I am looking for one or two people, preferably women. The entire room is $ 750 / month but is big enough for two to split (at $ 375 / month) plus about $30 in utilities. The room is very spacious, has a closet running almost the entire length of the room, high ceilings, hardwood floors, and big windows. There is a kitchen table that came with the apartment that is used as a desk in the room currently but it can be moved. At $375/person for two friends it's a steal! The apartment is awesome! The kitchen/living area is combined and has granite countertops, tall cabinets, a dishwasher, refrigerator, glasstop stove, and garbage disposal. There are two closets for common storage in the main room. There is a nice couch that came with the apartment but I've added a settee and a Lovesac SuperSac. I'm also a movie/tv buff so I have endless movies and tv shows on demand. It does not have a washer or dryer but the laundromat is out the back door and across a parking lot, less than a minute's walk. Not to go on and on but I like to cook so there is literally no kitchen tool, device, pan, or pot I don't have, this place is totally furnished but I am flexible if you'd like to bring some items for the common area. Off of my room there is a balcony as well that extends to one window of the common area so it's never really unreachable. It's got a bunch of chairs, a small table, a little grill, and rope lights for the nighttime. The building itself is located in the heart of Chinatown but does not smell like the fish market at all—if anything it sometimes smells like steak :D It has an elevator, front and back stairwell, handicap ramp, and keycode entry for the building's front door downstairs. For trash there is a chute located on each floor so it's never a problem! And last but certainly not least there is access to the large roof with an incredible view of Center City. There's 4 free 2hr parking spots in the street next to the building and if you get a permit you can park there as long as you like. I also know of a secret safe spot to park that's just a 5min walk away. It is also in extremely close proximity (~5 min) to the Market East train station, The Gallery mall at Market East, Redding Terminal Market, the Ben Franklin Bridge, and Constitution Center/Liberty Bell. In addition the local fire and police stations are literally one block away. Living in Chinatown is an experience; there is always something going on. It is incredibly safe! There are a lot of festivals, an underground supermarket, any asian cuisine, and some of the nicest people you'll meet. Lovely 2-bd apartment in Chinatown-- high ceilings, hardwood floors, very clean, super safe and incredibly convenient location. Looking for:18-30, Female tidy, student or working professional.
