15th St NW and M St. NW Washington DC 20005 · Apartment for Rent

I am currently living over on 5th and Hst NE and trying to move into the NW closer to work and where most of my friends are. I am looking for a middle August move in if possible but am flexible on both sides. A little about me. I am 30 and moved to DC almost 2 years ago and it has been work, work, work. I work for a large nonprofit in DC and run the development team. I am from Buffalo NY where I lived for 10 years for college and worked. Prior to that Spokane WA. I am athletic and love most all sports. I played DIII hockey in college and still play today just a lot slower. As for my weeks, I also center my life around work (thus looking for a place by work) and typically work 8am-6pm ish but do enjoy DC when I can for dinner and/or a happy hour. Yes, My weekends are usually open for the city and getting out on the town. I have a beautiful old well behaved golden retriever named Skyla in the photo below. I am very familiar with apartment buildings in this area and will pay all the fees/deposits needed for her. I will even in writing assure you she won't do anything to anything or anyone. She is the most loving lazy dog you will meet. I keep her groomed and have hair rollers handy always (I wear suits daily). I would also entertain adding funds to get the place cleaned as needed. I am neat and curious. If needed, I have everything for a place or could simply donate and/or store what I am not using. I put a photo of my current living room below. What I am looking for in a place: Close to 15th and M / Logan Circle or even Dupont Full service building Parking Storage Close to metro I am open to any rent split if it works. The buildings for a 2 bdrm tend to be anywhere from $3000 - $3700 for a true 2 bedroom. I am not fixed to one place or another.
