Hi, I'm looking to sublet my room for August and September. If you're looking for a long term lease, that is negotiable too. The rent is 950 w/o utilities. The apartment has Central Air/ Heat. And you have access to a Private Backyard (Patio Furniture Included) This is on Franklin and Bergen and is honestly a great neighborhood. The apartment is equidistant from the Franklin Avenue (2,3,4,5) on Franklin/Eastern Pkwy and Franklin Avenue (C) on Franklin/Fulton. It is right opposite to a new biergarten called Berg'n. I love this neighborhood. I'm moving out because I'm moving with my fiancé to Franklin/Sterling. It is great to be between so many trains and getting to Manhattan is super convenient, even on those dreaded weekends when MTA decides to randomly shut/re-route trains. It is super safe. Walking home at 2 or 3 in the morning is not an issue. The food around is one of the best in Brooklyn with places Chavela's (frankly the best Mexican in NY), Barboncino, Mayfield and Kelso. And great bars such as Crown Inn, Franklin Park, CovenHoven and the new Berg'n. If you want to move in only for the two months (August/September), I'm willing to negotiate the rent. However, for long term leases beyond September you will have to talk to the management. Also, there is some furniture which you can have for free if you choose to.
