Walk 8 blocks to Emily Carr, VCC is 10 blocks east on Broadway. City Hall and the Vancouver Hospital medical center are 7 and 10 blocks west. Perched on the 21st Floor, this sub-penthouse 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom suite, with 667 square feet inside and another 110 square feet of well sheltered deck space, has an unmatched 180 degree view that stretches from English Bay to Vancouver Harbour. Views of BC Place, the north shore mountains, and the downtown Vancouver skyline are enjoyed from the bedroom, living room, and deck. The bedrooms are separated by a wall of closets and drawers that integrates ample storage and affords clean design. The kitchen has modern appliances, quartz countertops, Italian cabinetry and an in-suite washer and dryer. The unit is air conditioned. The all inclusive price includes all utilities: 1GB fiber unlimited internet, heating, air conditioning, electricity, and hot water. In suite laundry. Storage locker and parking spaces are available for $75-125 a month each. The unit is pet-friendly and the additional pet fee is negotiable (depends on pet). The main bedroom with queen bed is approximately 11' by 14'. The second bedroom has a twin bed which could also be used as a daybed and the room is approximately 9' by 10'. It could also be used as an office, study, or guest bedroom. There is free secure bike storage and a communal bicycle workshop in the building. Other communal facilities include a fitness center, yoga room, dining patio with BBQ facilities, a meeting room, a party room, a guest suite available for nightly rental, and a 20000 square foot rooftop garden and patio! Public transit is located directly in front of The Independent and the SkyTrain station is only a 10 minute walk away. Within the same building is Nester’s Supermarket, Starbucks, Freshii, Thierry, and a Poke Bar. In the surrounding neighborhood, there is the Mount Pleasant Community Center as well as too many cafes, restaurants, pubs, and parks to try in a year. The walk score is 97/100, however that is calculated. It is truly a walking and biking accessible neighbourhood! The suite is fully furnished to be comfortable and modern. Both the queen bed and the twin/daybed have ultra-thick Logan & Cove mattresses. The Scandinavian-designed couch is perfectly positioned to take in the view or enjoy the app-enabled 55” Samsung LED TV. The suite has a surprisingly high amount of storage. The deck has a stylish lounger as well as a bistro set that can be used year-round due to the sheltered nature of the deck. The interior of the suite AND the deck are strictly nonsmoking. The kitchen has essential equipment and special needs can be accommodated. The minimum rental is for 3 months. The rental rate is ALL-INCLUSIVE of all utilities and form fees. Move-in/out fee is required ($125). Rent is payable on the first day monthly and 1 month deposit is due upon booking. I am licensed with the City of Vancouver for rentals of at least 3 months.
