I'm looking for a roommate to share a 1 bedroom apartment very close to downtown and uOttawa. I'm a male, recent graduate. The apartment is large, has a spectacular view of the river and an air conditioner. You have the choice of picking the bedroom or the open-concept half of the living room - it is important that you're comfortable with this. I'll be splitting the living room with a screen divider to make another room (this is why the rent is low :) ). There is one washroom and a closed kitchen. The apartment is furnished to the extent that I have tables and chairs and kitchen utensils. You'll have to bring your own bed (and desk if you want one - I just work on the dining table...). Facilities include squash courts, a gym, a pool and a convenience store on the main floor. Rent includes water and heat. Hydro and Internet extra (works out to about $30-40 a month together). I don't have cable but you can stream up to 150GB on my internet plan. Laundry is in the basement and is coin operated. No smoking, no pets. I'm looking for someone who is quiet, clean and preferably a vegetarian since I really don't like the smell of cooked/uncooked meat. Apartment is available starting August 1st and is near the Lees Transitway Station.
