There's a really great 1-bedroom apartment in Downtown LA available for move in on September 22 for a total of $1495/month (way cheaper than what is listed on their website). It is in the Bunker Hill Towers on 3rd and Figueroa. It is modern and large with huge windows that pretty much extend the length of the living room and the bedroom. It comes with a stove and refrigerator. There are really nice amenities including laundry, 24-hour security, covered and gated parking garage, fitness room, pool, jacuzzi, and tennis courts. It is walking distance to the metro, Disney concert hall, bus lines, MOCA, and financial district. Utilities are a standard rate of $115 (so about $55 per person) and it covers water, gas, trash, electricity. Parking (if you need it) is an additional $75/month, which is a really great deal for Downtown! I haven't signed for it yet, but no one else has claimed it. I hope that I can find a female roommate to share this place. One of us can take the bedroom and the other can take the living room. Both rooms are really great. It'll come empty so we'll need to buy furniture and decorations, but that should be fun. As for me, I'm female, almost 22 years old, just graduated from college and working full-time in HR consulting. I typically work from 9am to 6pm and occasionally later. I'm tidy and neat, but not anal about it. I'd like to share this place with someone who's the same. I'm looking for someone who is a student or working professional in their 20s. I'd really like to be friends with my roommate, but as long as we get along and pay bills/rent on time, it'll be great.
