THE APARTMENT:
The apartment takes up the top two floors of a rennovated brownstown in Bedstuy, Brooklyn. The building is recently rennovated, with hardwood floors throughout, and the common areas are spacious. Aside from your bedroom, the apartment is fully furnished - living space, kitchen, etc. There is an outdoor common area infront of the building and there is a communal weight room in the basement (bench, free weights, preacher curl, dips/pullups, etc.). The apartment located on a beautiful block - tree-lined, quiet, all brownstone apts. We're about a 5 minute walk from the C train at Kingston-Throop and 15 minute walk to the A,C trains at either Utica or Nostrand Ave. There are multiple laundry mats within walking distance. There's a huge grocery store about 5 minutes away. There are also a number of local restaurants and bars nearby.
THE ROOMMATES:
Four guys, all with FT jobs. One of us works 9-5, including frequent travel. Another works varying hours throughout the week, including nights. And yet another works evenings/nights. We are all in our mid to late 20's. One of us is gay, so it's a must that you be comfortable and respectful of that. We are social and compassionate people; we also empathize with each other's needs for space personal space and privacy as needed.
THE DEAL:
$750 per month, includes utilities. We're looking for a long-term roommate to join the current lease, though we are open to short-term rentals as well. Credit check and security deposit required before move-in. If you are seeking a long-term lease (6mo. at the least), we will have a trial run (1-2 months) before bringing you on as a permanent tenant. This will allow all parties to make sure the living situation is agreeable.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
You should have stable employment and be able to demonstrate consistent income. You should also have good credit and a clean criminal/legal record. More personally, we're looking for someone who is open-minded, respectful, outgoing and empathetic.
