Roommate needed - Available o/a 1 Novemeber The potential roommate would get a pretty sweet set up in the Master Bedroom, which includes a large walk-in closet and bathroom with linen closet. You can see the apartment floor plan on accompanying photo. The rent is $815 + utilities, which ends up being less than $100 per person per month max. (Elec, Water, and Internet). I don't have cable, so if that's something you want it would be up to you. I'm looking for someone to commit to one year, so please, no month to month inquiries. As far as living arrangements, I don't spend a lot of time at home, mostly hanging out at Cafe Stella studying, and am gone every other weekend for school in Maryland for the next two years. A bit about me. I am a 40 something laid back dude and retired Army officer. I am currently a full time grad student and part time yoga teacher. I stay pretty active in the local scene attending different events, so if you're into that kind of stuff (concerts, art, beer, movies) we'd probably dig being roommates. I keep the place pretty clean, don't have pets, and don't smoke. The apartment is mostly furnished. I'll need to get another sofa when my current roommate departs. There is a lot of natural light, being the corner unit on the second floor facing Northwest. The building is in a great location in Norfolk (Ghent) on 21st Street next to 80/20 Burger Bar, and walking/cycling distance to all the cool stuff this part of town has to offer. That being said, the fact it's on 21st street also means there is street noise and the trains run nearby. Gotta take the pros with the cons in life... 201 Twenty One full of amenities, including an outdoor pool and beautiful courtyard with BBQ grills and fire pits, movie theater room, meeting room, internet room with large Mac Computers and printer for resident use, club room with pool tables and kitchen, fitness center with a yoga room, bicycle storage room, and a dedicated covered "non flooding" parking spot. Residents can reserve the movie room and club room, as well as the yoga room. I've done this quite frequently for social gatherings and yoga classes.
