Woodbine subway station and Danforth GO station are a 5 and 10 minute walk, respectively; Valu-mart and Sobeys (24 hours) are 5 minutes; and TD, RBC, BMO, and Scotiabank are also within 5. A little further along, but still within walking distance (30-ish minutes) and very much worth the trip, are Woodbine Beach to the south and the Don River Valley trail system to the north. Both are great places to be during the summer. For those of you who work downtown, you're looking at a 20 minute ride on the subway -- no biggie. All in all, it's a pretty good part of Toronto.
