I'm moving this fall, into a house being built by my one of my best friends and I'm looking for a ROOMMATE! Here's the deal. A long time friend of mine is building a brand spanking new house in South Osborne. It's a duplex, with two completely separate two-bedroom units. I'm going to be renting the lower unit which is a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom suite, and am looking for someone to fill the other room! The house is still being built as we speak (see above for current pics and for an idea of the finished product), and the move-in date is set for September 1. My unit will be 1000 sq. ft, with 9 foot ceilings (!), high end, brand-new stainless steel appliances, fridge with water and ice maker, smart thermostat, full LED smart lighting, quartz countertops, full air conditioning, in-suite laundry, free parking with car plug-ins, and it also qualifies for MB Power Smart so it's going to be very efficient. The location is fantastic, on Hethrington ave, very close to the Osborne Rapid Transit station. And of course, the landlord is a friend of mine and an absolute beauty. Rent is very reasonable, set for CDN$1400/month, so $700 per person. Since the place is brand new it won’t be furnished, I have some older furniture but it’s nothing special. A little about me, my name is Tyler, and I’m starting a second degree at the U of M this fall. I’m a pretty easy going guy, I’m a big fan of all sports, and I’m very well travelled. I love having the occasional beer, and I am looking for a roommate that is mature and responsible like myself.
