Hi folks!
I have a room in a two-bedroom share available for immediate move-in (or Nov. 1). The room is 12ft x 15ft with a small closet. It looks out on the garden, gets great light, and can easily fit a bed as well as a couch and a desk -- it's basically a good-sized studio apartment.
You'd be sharing the apartment (bathroom and kitchen) with me, a 32-year-old small business owner and video artist who's lived in the neighborhood for 7 years. I'm clean and conscientious, social without being overbearing, and I spend a fair amount of time working from home but won't be all up in your shit. Looking for someone who's excited to share a home and appreciates a reasonable amount of order. I will likely have a friend moving in either in one year or two, so I'm looking for someone who doesn't mind that potential limitation on the timeframe.
The apartment is in Carroll Gardens, right on the border with Red Hook, and a super easy 1.5 blocks from the F/G trains at Smith-9th St. It's a block from some great neighborhood spots like Court Street Grocer's, Buttermilk Channel, the church where Al Capone got married, and an amazing hole-in-the-wall cafe called Dunkin Donuts.
If you'd like to come check out the place, please contact me with a bit of info about yourself, any questions you have, and your availability within the few days.
First month's rent and security deposit ($2500 total) due at move-in.
